The cost of your website comprises a basic setup fee which covers sitewide design and layout, an amount per page covering basic content (text and images), and additional amounts for dynamic content and added functionality (forms, image slideshows, sliding panels or scrolling sections, Flash elements, audio, video, blogs you can update yourself).

Costs do not include domain and hosting fees and I don't provide hosting (see What I provide for recommendations though).

Colours and text styles will be matched to your existing brochures/stationery and logo, if you have these. (See Portfolio for examples.) Prices will depend on the complexity of the work required.

Submission of the completed site to the major search engines for indexing is included in the cost, as is the tagging of each individual page and advice on optimising your content to ensure best possible visibility in search results.

A standard brochure site of text and images can start as low as £375 for a 5-page site. A larger site with more dynamic content and a bespoke Wordpress blog might typically be in the region of £500-£750. Content management system-based sites – ie. sites you can update yourself – start at around £600, and ecommerce implementations from around £1,200.

Prices are quoted in GB£ and can be paid via credit/debit card through the secure server facility on my main site. Your credit card company will take care of any foreign exchange if appropriate. I do not charge VAT.


If you have your domain name and hosting already arranged, and all the content of your site prepared and ready for inclusion, a standard brochure site can go "live" in less than a week from ordering.
